GROUP TRAINING 2015 AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE FINALISTS

Group Training Australia WA Inc (GTA WA) has today announced the finalists of the 2015 Awards of Excellence in Group Training 2015.

The 2015 Awards of Excellence recognise the top apprentices and trainees that are employed by a group training organisation (GTO) in Western Australia and the Host Employers who support the training of apprentices and trainees through group training.

President Stuart Diepeveen said “Group Training is unique by the fact that the apprentice and trainee is employed by the GTO who organises all theory with  on-the job employment and training being provided by  host employers within the industry.

“The 2015 Awards of Excellence event is a celebration of the top young men and women who have committed themselves to achieving excellence in their chosen career.

“The independent panel of judges looked at education and work performance, personal skills and more importantly how individuals were applying this knowledge into the real workplace situation.

“Regardless of which finalist wins each of the categories, they are all great ambassadors for group training and should be proud of their achievements thus far.

The event will be an exciting networking opportunity for apprentices, trainees, group training organisations, host employers and industry.  Mr Jan Norberger MLA, Member for Joondalup will represent the Minister for Training and Workforce Development the Hon Liza Harvey MLA.

We are very proud to announce that AustralianSuper is the event sponsor while AMA Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services, Woodside Energy Ltd and Group Training Australia Ltd are award sponsors for the evening.
